We want to provide you the care your child deserves – meaning no rushed appointments, plenty of time to spend with you and your child to address all your questions and concerns, and quick availability to be seen when you want to be, not weeks later. All without the hassle of navigating the confusing world of insurance.

What if we have insurance?

While we do not require insurance with membership, having insurance is recommended to cover expenses such as hospitalizations, ER visits, specialist visits, and surgery. However, with this membership, you can save thousands of dollars each year by choosing a plan with a high deductible or get a medical cost sharing plan.

Can I be reimbursed by my insurance company?

Depending on the policy, you can submit a receipt for your membership fees or lab/medication costs. Some insurance companies will apply these payments toward a deductible.

Can I use my flexible spending account or HSA?

Penn Pediatrics is an FSA eligible expense. While the membership fee cannot be paid with an HSA, it can be used for medications, labs, imaging, etc. We recommend consulting your tax professional about this for further details.

What can we expect as members?

With this membership you can expect exceptional care! Little to no wait times for appointments or in the office to be seen, longer appointments, direct access to your provider 24/7, 365 days of telehealth, see the same provider, unlimited visits and access, labs and imaging at discounted rates, coordinated care with your whole team.

Are there any extra fees?

Additional fees that may add to this cost include: medications that are prescribed, lab work or imaging that is ordered. If you have insurance, this can be billed to your insurance. Ear piercings will also be an additional cost. All other primary care needs will be completely covered by your membership.
